Ok, i'm not sure about Peter's time resources these days, since i know
he's just been moving.  I would prefer this option.

I don't have the internet bandwidth to suck the entire CVS repository
just for this CD.  However, Chuck Robey volunteered to prepare me a
diff, so i'd rather pick this.  I need it by mid/end of next week, so
if Peter has an occasion to synchronize the trees by the weekend, this
should suffice.

Ah, ok.  This might help.  I will also drop a boldfaced pointer to the
SMP mailinglist for anybody who's more serious about this work.
