I had a ME professor (modeling nerd type) once tell me that he did this under emulation for SCO or some thing. More than that I cannot say. There is linux emulation, SysVr4 emulation, and SCO ibcs2 emulation in FreeBSD. It is something I think you will just have to do and see how it goes. This info is on www.freebsd.org.
