Can I > do a cd-to-cd copy with an IDE drive? Not on FreeBSD, not yet. For ripping audio tracks, see if /dev/MAKEDEV handles "acd0t99" to create devices for raw access to tracks. If that works, then you can use dd to read the tracks (with a different strange block size).
