I've compiled the kernel with the high = speed ports with "flags 0x20000" (dunno if thats right, but LINT said it = enables higher bandwidth or something like that). My question is this: how do i enable clk x 4? thanks in advance X ------=_NextPart_000_000E_01C17773.E1AF7000 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
Hi, not quite sure where to mail this = one=20 to...

the story is, i have a high speed = serial card based=20 on the holtek ht6535 chip, and i want to enable clkX4 mode. when i = enable it on=20 the card, the com port will not work. currently the only mode that works = is=20 clkX1 which is really quite slow. the instructions that came with the = card say=20 that "if you want to use the CLK x2 or x 4, your software utility must = offer the=20 clock initiation". I've compiled the kernel with the high speed ports = with=20 "flags 0x20000" (dunno if thats right, but LINT said it enables higher = bandwidth=20 or something like that).

My question is this: how do i enable = clk x=20 4?

thanks in advance
