Thanks. :-) I think you may be confusing the X10 stuff and the Hauppauge Infra-Red Remote control, as you wrote "but I don't see any docs at all referring to X10 capabilities of the Hauppage directly" The X10 remote is a remote control which fits to the MOUSE PORT. And you can control FXTV via the X10 remote control New Hauppauge cards also come with their own Infra-Red remote control which connects to the back of the WinTV (WinCast/TV in the USA) card. This Hauppauge remote control is not an X10 device. There is support for it in the newer bt848 drivers, but FXTV has not yet been changed to use the Hauppauge remote control > Interests include any kind of voice or data > communications topic, C programming, and Unix. Aah. I need pepople with Hauppauge cards and MSP3430 chips to help debugging the driver. Can you help????
