Is it possible to install FreeBSD on a Sharp PC-3070 Laptop, using the Backpak CD-ROM (external CD-ROM)? I have a clean 1.0 GB HD in it, and would like to try FreeBSD. Can the floppy/install system find, detect, and install the CD unit, or should I install DOS and the driver, and copy FreeBSD to the hard drive and run it? Thank You, Jon A Greenspon
