It had installed a lot of the required file and had been running for 5-10 minutes. It then moved to the installation phase ( I think - my terminal crashed so I don't have the output) and hit a stop when it tried to access something in the jfc port (jfc/work/swing1_1_1 - I think). So I installed the jfc port and tried again. This time it asked me about a bunch of patches, if it could be assumed they were -R (reversed?) [y]. I hit enter here for all. It then stopped saying the ALT_BOOTDIR var didn't point to a valid JDK. I tried pointing it to the linux jdk (1.2.2) and jdk1.1.8 with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
