Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I use a BetterTelnet, the continuation of the NCSA telnet project for the Macintosh. (I use to to talk to FreeBSD) It has support VT100 and VT220, but I am not sure how to do the colors. With a default install of some linux distros "ls" listings and other applications have color coding for all kinds of useful things, but I am not sure how to turn that on for FreeBSD. I have tried in the past, but was not successful. Anyone know of how to do this? Anyone care to share a useful .profile? :) Thanks, Brennan Stehling - web developer and sys admin projects: www.greasydaemon.com | www.onmilwaukee.com | www.sncalumni.com Microsoft: Will you get a macro virus today? http://www.greasydaemon.com/noms/ <- Why avoid MS?
