i'm having problems trying to figure out the best way to create the following network: EXISTING: gateway1 --> isp (ppp -alias) NEW-NET: gateway2 --> gateway1 --> isp (dynamic IP) (ppp -alias) i am adding ethernetworks to each gateway, and each gateway should be able to handle dialups as well. i need help deciding how to name, number, and mask the ethernet and dialups coming into gateway2, and wonder if this will impose any restrictions on gateway2 clients. i'd like the configurations of the gateways to be as similar as possible for ease of maintenance. ps. the more machines i have to maintain, the more i wish i didn't have to enter data redundantly. i wish i could to set the baudrate (or hostname, etc) for all programs by setting one variable - if anyone has any good tips on configuration simplification, i would appreciate them. thank you.
