Hello,
we administrate a network that has about 700 machines using a firewall
with natd. The network deals with high traffic and is configured like
this:
Internet
|
|
| ISA adapter 10Mbps
----------
| | PCI adapter 100Mbps
| Firewall |------------------------Extranet
| |
----------
| PCI adapter 100Mbps
|
|
Intranet
The problem is that sometimes we get this error message from natd
Oct 21 16:04:49 fw natd[106]: failed to write packet back (Host is
down)
The machine also hangs up in a two times in a week basis.
Could this be caused by the traffic on the ISA adapter? Does anyone
have any hints about this problem?
Thanks in advance,
