Hello. We are receiving a new server at the University
that I work for. It is supposedly a Dual Pentium II with
256MB of RAM and various other sundries. This is to be
a file/web/other server for about 900 students. Being
a System Administrator of Unix systems I would like to
keep it as a Unix server. Is FreeBSD SMP ready for this
sort of task? If no, how long should I wait? I thank
anyone for any input and/or refferences to other solutions.
