https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D263260 Bug ID: 263260 Summary: pkg does not find indexinfo Product: Base System Version: 12.3-RELEASE Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: bin Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: jfc@mit.edu Some ports run indexinfo in a post-install or post-deinstall script. If /usr/local/bin is not in root's path the install script will report an erro= r.=20 The current behavior of both failing in the post-install or post-deinstall = hook and returning a 0 exit status is bad. These scripts are not in the package source in /usr/ports. They are generated by some magic I lack the patience= to track down. # /usr/local/sbin/pkg install fftw3 [...] [1/1] Installing fftw3-3.3.10...
