I did a net install of 3.1-RELEASE last night using a custom set of packages. Everything appeared to go fine but later I find that I don't have X installed even though I selected it. This certainly seems to stem from the compat22 difficulties as now whenever I go try to install X from sysinstall, it just downloads compat22 then quits out. I don't relish having to spend a day downloading and compiling X myself so I hope there is a fix for this problem. -- Evan Parry nave@azstarnet.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
