When I build a kernel without pci bus support the system will lock-up within a few minutes after boot sometimes running the execution of the rc* scripts. 2. When I was on a Class A network I did a `ping XX.255.255.255` [don't ask why..]. the system paniced due to a full arp cache. -Pete
