Can I ask that work on this be stopped for a few days while I get a proper legal opinion on 18 USC 2510 et seq. These changes that make the drivers without modification able to intercept all traffic on the wire puts the FreeBSD kernel itself in a situation that it may be classified as a wire tapping device under this part of the Code. I am not asking that this be backed out, just that any additional changes that put us that much closer to having BPF be a run time turnon be stopped. I also am not asking that we remove BPF from the default config file, at this time, though I have done so on all local configuration files. -- Rod Grimes - KD7CAX - (RWG25) rgrimes@gndrsh.dnsmgr.net To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
