Please run the autotools patch universally and ignore the host OS.  This is especially important with chroot, jails etc.

Yes, I'm aware of $UNAME_r etc but it really shouldn't be necessary at this point.

Having the patch run universally should also increase awareness of the outstanding unfixed ports and highlight those that need their upstream to be encouraged to fix it.
