 Yes, that helps. I installed the imake port and after that xv built
 without any problems.
 
 I propose that my bug report be closed, BUT please include this hint by
 FUJISHIMA Satsuki. If I had found this answer in the previous bug
 report 9122, I would not have submitted another bug report. Thanks!
