Not so. I'm running this on 4.0-CURRENT: /usr/local/netscape-4.5/communicator-4.5.bin: FreeBSD/i386 compact demand paged dynamically linked executable This is an a.out exectable. There is *no* problem running a.out executables on ELF systems. To answer Robert's questions: I think I just installed the port.
