However, It does not seem to work. I think the dhcpd is located in /usr/sbin and I created a startup script and a config file But it does not work. Any ideas? ------_=_NextPart_001_01C243D5.E174ABD0 Content-Type: text/html <html> <head> <META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=us-ascii"> <meta name=Generator content="Microsoft Word 10 (filtered)"> <style> <!-- /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {margin:0cm; margin-bottom:.0001pt; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} a:link, span.MsoHyperlink {color:blue; text-decoration:underline;} a:visited, span.MsoHyperlinkFollowed {color:purple; text-decoration:underline;} span.EmailStyle17 {font-family:Arial; color:windowtext;} @page Section1 {size:595.3pt 841.9pt; margin:72.0pt 90.0pt 72.0pt 90.0pt;} div.Section1 {page:Section1;} --> </style> </head> <body lang=EN-NZ link=blue vlink=purple> <div class=Section1> <p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span lang=EN-US style='font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>I am trying to install ISC DHCP</span></font></p> <p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span lang=EN-US style='font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>I have downloaded the latest version from the ISC website</span></font></p> <p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span lang=EN-US style='font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'> </span></font></p> <p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span lang=EN-US style='font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>After extracting the file I run</span></font></p> <p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span lang=EN-US style='font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>./configure</span></font></p> <p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span lang=EN-US style='font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>make</span></font></p> <p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span lang=EN-US style='font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>make install</span></font></p> <p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span lang=EN-US style='font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'> </span></font></p> <p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span lang=EN-US style='font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>I don't get errors and followed the guidelines on the website.</span></font></p> <p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span lang=EN-US style='font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>However, It does not seem to work.</span></font></p> <p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span lang=EN-US style='font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>I think the dhcpd is located in /usr/sbin and I created a startup script and a config file</span></font></p> <p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span lang=EN-US style='font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>But it does not work.</span></font></p> <p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span lang=EN-US style='font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'> </span></font></p> <p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span lang=EN-US style='font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>Any ideas?</span></font></p> <p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span lang=EN-US style='font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'> </span></font></p> <p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span lang=EN-US style='font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial'> </span></font></p> </div> </body> </html> ------_=_NextPart_001_01C243D5.E174ABD0-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
