If you are asking about getting a FreeBSD installation CD set for free, I don't think there are any people out there just making them up and passing them out for nothing. If you want to install FreeBSD for free, you can download the files from the Internet and install off of your hard drive. You can even install directly off the Internet over your modem, but it takes awhile. If you have a CD writer, you can also download a CD image to burn your own CD.
