It queries whois.ripe.net as default instead of whois.internic.net. The ripe version of the code selects between these two hosts as a compile time option '#define RIPE'. Maybe we can have a configuration variable somewhere which selects between these two. Has anyone got an idea of how many FBSD machines are in the US, v.s. Europe?
