 Yes, but the patch would be enormous, as it replaces the whole bdwgc.

 It's in the base in 9.0, so I didn't think it would be a concern.
 
 If you prefer to remove the extra dependency and would like an extra
 mirror -- I can put .bz2 version on the same server.
