After installing x11-fonts/bitstream-vera, the 10 ttf files is installed into /usr/local/lib/X11/fonts/bitstream-vera. I just wonder why they are not installed into the /usr/local/lib/X11/fonts/TTF or /usr/local/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType. 

I find this problem When I hope to use Bitstream Vera Sans Mono in X program.
