using aic79xx-linux-2.4-20040209-tar.gz with fedora kernel 2.4.22-1.2174.nptl and setting the following in /etc/modules.conf options aic7xxx aic7xxx=verbose.global_tag_depth:16 why does /proc/scsi/aic7xxx/0 show Target 0 Negotiation Settings User: 160.000MB/s transfers (80.000MHz DT, offset 127, 16bit) Goal: 160.000MB/s transfers (80.000MHz DT, offset 62, 16bit) Curr: 160.000MB/s transfers (80.000MHz DT, offset 62, 16bit) Channel A Target 0 Lun 0 Settings Commands Queued 2937652 Commands Active 32 Command Openings 0 Max Tagged Openings 32 Device Queue Frozen Count 0 I thought that global_tag_depth:16 should have set 'Max Tagged Openings' to 16, have I misinterpreted? Note that the module has been reloaded since the options were set in modules.conf and per my last email to the list from /var/log/messages I thought it was getting set. -- Todd Denniston Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC Crane) Harnessing the Power of Technology for the Warfighter
