Xircom refuse to release programming documentation without NDA, and are
generally regarded as scum in the free software community due to their
inappropriate use of free code (from the CRYNWYR packet driver IIRC).

If they were to take a leaf out of Diamond's book, I'm sure they'd be 
welcomed back, but as it is nobody wants to touch their stuff.
