I'm a newbie and have done this with 4.0, 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3. (I now use cvsupit; but will still want the CD's on hand.) If you're a newbie, read the appropriate sections of the handbook. If you want to update your system via cvsupit, remember to install the source. If you're installing from a Release CD, make sure you update your system to fix the telnet security issue.
