Hi,

Due to a config problem on one of my remote machines, i discovered that /var was full.  In order to get around this problem I moved the content from /var to /usr/var and symlinked with ln -s the (most of) the contents back to /var.

does df know about real and linked files and directories and if so where did my disk space go?
