This value doesn't seem to exist on the bootprompt. show 
hw.pci.enables_io_modes is the correct name?

And isn't set name the command I have to type?

set hw.pci.enables_io_modes=0 doesn't help.

It's the same with your second variable.

>      hw.pci_allow_unsupported_io_range=1

Would be cool if you'd tell me what I got wrong.
