Note that David Greenman recently wrote that he wasn't happy with Mylex's performance for cdrom.com and has (or is about to) moved to the CMD Viper II series. I am personally waiting for DPT V and Mylex (PCI) drivers. It's really hard to justify the price of external RAID units.
