Security isn't a matter of options, it's a process. All of the security
knobs in the world won't help you if the product has a poor implementation
of the security model. After 5 years in the field, they're STILL finding
and fixing security bugs in Windows NT 4.
And then they went and rewrote Windows 2000 (more or less) from scratch.
Do you believe it to be a secure product? I pity the poor fools who were
conned into adopting Windows 2000 before at least service pack 3.
