Actually, with NEWCARD, CardBus just worked for me when I worked when I tried out my new 3CXFE575CT (10/100 CardBus Ethernet with XJACK). It's only in current, but it's working. I got an xl0 interface and managed 60Mbps on a half-duplex switch. It looks like the day I can switch to NEWCARD for everything isn't that far off.
