Do you really get that many questions about them on the lists? Is it really necessary to perform all these steps? Where do you want this text to go? Into the CVSup section of the Obtaining FreeBSD appendix? If so, can you please tell us exactly what you want added where? If you are able, submitting a diff to the SGML would be easiest.
