The new SCSI technology called CAM (Common Access Method) includes support for aic7890. The CAM code is now in beta-testing, but it's more reliable than the standard SCSI code. The CAM snapshots for both -stable and -current are downloadable from ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/cam/ Boot floppy with new CAM SCSI code is also available and downloadable from http://www.FreeBSD.org/~abial/cam-boot/ Regards, -- Ruslan Ermilov System Administrator ru@ucb.crimea.ua United Commercial Bank +380-652-247647 Simferopol, Crimea 2426679 ICQ Network, UIN To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
