Whenever i try to start the nas server i get the following kernel error:

Oct 15 20:08:14 why /kernel: PCM device 1 not installed.

I've used the /dev/audio device to play au files and trecker with my 
sound blaster 16 card.... but i seem to be missing somthing here.  Any ideas?
