You'd probably get more help if you posted to the amanda mailing list... anyways, So you installed the amanda server on your host and are trying to back up local disks correct? Did you install from the ports tree? what user:group did you create for amanda? verify that the partitions you are defining in your disklist have read permissions for the group that the amanda user is a part of... what does your amanda entry look like in /etc/inetd.conf ? is it listening? netstat -an |grep 10082 what does /tmp/amanda/selfcheck*debug say? -Ben To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
