It is more than gdb. There is also a problem in building egcs (with mkstemps).
Looks like a simple fix (add mkstemp.o to a makefile somewhere...). I'll
certainly be looking at it later today.

I'd like to get the cross-compilation working. O/w, what's the point of
supporting multiple platforms :-)
