This is rather odd.

Lynx will not refresh every N seconds for URL's with ?refresh=N at the end.
 Checked the man page, command line options, and web site.

Or is this just not possible (at this time) with lynx.

Using 2.8 on 2.2.7R.

Would be nice to be able to auto-refresh pages like:

httpd://www.your.server/server-status

When you want to monitor things. 8-(
