[ 220.531] (**) Option "Device" "/dev/sysmouse"
[ 220.531] (EE) synaptics: Mouse0: Synaptics driver unable to detect protocol
[ 220.531] (EE) PreInit returned 11 for "Mouse0"
[ 220.532] (II) UnloadModule: "synaptics"

Does /dev/sysmouse exist? Is moused started? How are you starting X ?
Also, does X start and crash? What happens if you run Xorg -retro - do
you see the color screen?

Basically - "doesn't work" is very broad and we need more data before
we can propose a solution :)
