Hiya.

I posted this question two days ago but didn't get many responses
to the problem so I concluded that maybe I was not specific enough so I am
reposting with more specifics....

I am trying to compile and make the new pine installation Pine4.10.
I am compiling on a box that has FreeBSD 2.2.7

The pine installation program does not use a Makefile like normal BSD
apps instead it uses a `build` script that collects information from a
series of makefiles. I cannot compile this program successfully.
because I have DES support on my box I require the `-lcrypt` flag to be
included in the installation to get past the error that leaving out such a
flag generates (i.e. `unrecognized symbol `_crypt` found at line 163)
Where do I specify this flag? Where do I specify my compiler type?

Thanks
Sasha
