When I installed FreeBSD I allocated 60 meg to the root device, but I can't find 60 meg of data. Is it possible to resize the partition without destroying the file system? And ... while I'm at it ... is there a way that I can quickly determine exactly how much space (in bytes/kbytes) is available on a file system? I've been trying to interpret the information from fsck but it's not exactly clear to me how "files, used, free, frags, and blocks" corresponds to "2 meg free" ... or whatever. thanks lane ~this is the reason they call it "questions," right?
