Hello all.

I'm running FreeBSD 3.2 on a PIII server with 384 MB of RAM and 9.6 GB HD.
I'm running APACHE and Mysql there and holds about 200 small sites.

When I run the TOP command I receive this information:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
last pid: 51413; load averages: 0.10, 0.08, 0.03 up 7+01:20:10 19:45:08
44 processes: 1 running, 40 sleeping, 3 zombie
CPU states: 35.8% user, 0.0% nice, 2.7% system, 1.9% interrupt, 59.5% idle
Mem: 46M Active, 282M Inact, 22M Wired, 11M Cache, 8348K Buf, 6868K Free
Swap: 512M Total, 512M Free
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have 2 questions.

1) What's a zombie process???? .Just curious.
2) How could I know that my system is overloaded?. Because of the use of
Memory? or Active process? idle percentage? use of swap memory?

I'm sorry if this sounds too basic.

Thanks in advance,

JB
