Just now, I'm beating on the drive with dd, and only 6 (the last 6 of above) errors popped up. All the other showed up during the booting process. I tried to fsck the filesystems, but it checks out all right. sd0 was working perfectly before the upgrade, has never produced any error message since the whole system was put together one year ago. sd1 is connected to the narrow cable in an enclosure a wide-to-narrow adapter. Does anyone have any idea on what's the problem? Here's my dmesg: Copyright (c) 1992-1997 FreeBSD Inc. Copyright (c) 1982, 1986, 1989, 1991, 1993 The Regents of the University of California.
