So, they give an 800# right?  So all the people in the US call the 800# on
the VetRing's dime.  What do we say when we call?  Just spend 5 or 10
minutes complaing about their spam and how they didn't follow the rules
you pointed out.

They'll be sorry they included their 800# in there.  This is something I
practice w/ and spam I get that includes a toll free number, and not very
many do.  So, you have to take the opprutunity when it arises... :-)
