The current version is 0.8.5_1. This might be because the portsnap for FreeBSD 6.4 is old. Because it seems like your ports tree is old, you might also not have the latest version of textproc/p5-SGML-Parser-OpenSP, which is at 0.994 now. My only recommendation is to update your ports tree using cvsup instead of portsnap, to get the latest version of both ports. Make sure you update textproc/p5-SGML-Parser-OpenSP before www/validator.
