After installing BIN ... XFree86 3.1.1 (except security) I got a problem with setting the password for any user ( including root ). After looking into the problem I noticed that /usr/bin/passwd was owned by bin, and with the s-bit set and the /etc/passwd and /etc/master.passwd owned by root, this operation failed. I changed the owner from bin to root on /usr/bin/passwd, then no problem! Is this a minor bug, or did I screw something up during installation (like not installing security)?
