I'd hate to get it all up in the machine before I have given you all a first pass. >- I would suggest to call this chapter 'Video Playback', not just 'Video'. There is also the other issue of whether to place this in the chapter 14 of the handbook and make chapter 14 'multimedia' instead of 'sound'. I'd like some feedback on that. Also, conspicuously absent is a discussion of xawtv/video capture. I don't (yet) have the hardware toys to play with that so I can't write about it. I suppose I should submit an open 'capture' pr when this is finally submitted. The &-ification was my doing because I was not sure whether or not or how to create man entities (anyone, HELP!), but I wanted to leave a placeholder for them. Creating a single file and a couple mods to files in the handbook tree is one thing. The man entities are in a different part of the tree and I wasn't sure what to use to create them (man xvideo | col -b > man.xvideo.1 ???). The things I amped were XFree86 4.X functions. These would not be manpages in the base system until the base includes version 4.X (anyone know when that will happen???). I wasn't sure about whether or not to put the listing-stuff inside the 's or not. Good style points on contractions and the rest. I'll make fixes tonight. Oh yes, what, if any, CSS disclaimer and legal gobbledygook should I put? -r To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-doc" in the body of the message
