Thanks Nikola. I just checked and found the latest is 2.3.0 -- and for 6.x, while I'm running 7.0-rcx. (*sigh*) The last time I tried to build OO, = it=20 broke. This was running the Gnome windowing suite, not KDE. Can you=20 [[ or anyone else onlist ]] tell me of successes or snafus in building 2.3.1 from src?? I prefer building from src over a package even if it does take = a=20 day++ to finish. It's not fun, tho, when the compiler gets almost done, an= d=20 then things break..... Oh *well* :-) gary =20 =2D-=20 Gary Kline kline@thought.org www.thought.org Public Service Unix http://jottings.thought.org http://transfinite.thought.org
