Did you try 10.1? I have that on R710/Perc6/i RAID5 without problems. -Simon On Thu, 14 Apr 2016 11:39:20 -0400, Adonis Peralta wrote: >Hi all, >I'm having issues getting freebsd 10.3 to boot on my Dell R710 server which has a Perc6/i with the latest firmware. Install works fine but boot fails with gptboot failing or hanging and the kernel failing to load. I have 4 1TB disks set up on Raid0 and this fails. If I set them as individual disks then Freebsd successfully runs on that single disk. Is the Perc6/i a problem Raid card with FreeBSD? >Thanks, >Adonis >_______________________________________________ >freebsd-hardware@freebsd.org mailing list >https://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-hardware >To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-hardware-unsubscribe@freebsd.org"
