Thanks, I got it built by setting two environment vars
FIND=/usr/bin/find
ECHO_CMD=/bin/echo

Mmmm.  I tried running sphinx2-demo, it didn't work first shot, but do
you mean I have no chance getting it to work under FreeBSD ?
