Have been able to reproduce the issue inside a VM - when GPT isn't used, the
problems always happen. Once switching to GPT, everything works as expected.
Well, if you've an existing partition layout not using GPT, bad luck.

Oh, problem solved here by reinstalling but of course not freebsd - if I've=
 to
reinstall anyways I thought I can switch to something better tested before
releasing.
